It’s a very strange move. Years ago I worked for Candy Crush’s PR agency and we had to try and get journalists interested in a moschino x Candy Crush collab. It was HIDEOUS, and such a hard sell pretty much universally. This was nearly ten years ago and I wouldn’t say that Candy Crush has gotten any cooler in that time.
I believe that her CEO has just walked (Rabih Hamdan) and there has been a series of lay offs - I don’t think all is well at PMG.
Would never see Lisa Eldridge doing something like that!
