It's the same reason when someone compliments your dress it's the law to reply 'thanks, it has pockets!' or to tell someone 'it's actually a jumpsuit!' We never get practical things!
So true. This is why we also love dresses and skirts with pockets. Never ceases to amaze me how much stuff I have in my bag that the men (husband and 2 teenage boys) frequently ‘require’, whilst at the same time they ask ‘why do you always carry a bag’. For them, being born able to pee standing up and never having to worry about periods, they are so ‘free’ in life. I’ve tried to fight the system but failed so I might as well carry a great bag that works!
You’re so right about the bag! I used to flit between different crossbody bags because none of them fit the brief. The Uniqlo fits EVERYTHING I need and more while being so perfectly small and light! ❤️
You've definitely covered a couple of my faves off on that list but I'd add Batiste Dry Shampoo. I feel like I've tried almost every dry shampoo out there, and I can't stop coming back to this one. It's effective, smells good, can be picked up with your weekly shop and an absolute bargain. I reckon most women have a can at home or have used it at some point.

I was in Uniqlo yesterday debating whether I needed a bright coloured summer version of my trusty brown corduroy cross-body bag. You’ve convinced me. Of course I need a pretty summer one! That bag is like a tardis - it fits so much and I never leave the house without it. Make-up version? My daughter (20) would say Body Shop hand cream. She has a little tube in every bag and coat pocket.
