Flying Ant day is the worse! Also this may make you laugh, a friend is a landlord and their tenant rang them to complain that they’d found maggots in their kitchen bin, the tenant didn’t believe it was because of something that may have been in their bin but that it was a fault of the landlord 😂😂

Please take up narrating nature documentaries, specifically one about creepy crawlies that you’re horrified by - this was a hilarious read. Also totally relatable, I too would be horrified by a maggot in the bin, and now I can’t stop thinking about how many must be in the communal bin store of my building!?

I have had maggots (plural) in the bin more than once and it does make you feel a bit dirty but I think just the one is nothing to be ashamed of!

Ohh my lord this is an actual NIGHTMARE 😭

Our bin store is in the corner of our car park, shared with the other 15 flats in my building and about six businesses (maybe more). It's under trees where squirrels, flies, you name it, come and have parties on our bird-poo-covered rubbish. If I am sent to hell, I imagine that's what it will entail.

We had maggots in the bin (flies love those poopy nappies!) and it was rank. The thought of them in there 🤢🤢🤢Anyway, now think that paying for a monthly wheelie bin clean might be one of my best life choices!
