Have you actually read the P Diddy allegations?
You're gonna want to rethink your Spotify playlists after this
Get your plays in of I’ll Be Missing you, because it looks like it’s time to add P Diddy to the ever-growing list of artists we can no longer support.
If you remember, back in November, fellow artist Cassie, filed a lawsuit against the man who is actually called Sean Combs. Citing physical abuse throughout their 10-year relationship.
In her lawsuit, Cassie claims she met Sean in 2005 when she was 19 and he was 37. She went on to say that he controlled nearly every aspect of her life including her medical records, beat and raped her, and forced her to have sex with male sex workers in different cities.
As well as forcing her into these acts, Cassie alleges Sean watched, masturbated and filmed them.
Despite having multiple witnesses in her suit, Sean denied the allegations.
The day after her filing, a settlement was reached, with Cassie stating, “I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control”.
Following Cassie and during the same month, two more woman came forward on the same day.
The first woman claimed she met Sean on a night out in 1990 or 1991 and was “coerced into having sex with him”. She also alledged he assaulted her friend as well.
In her suit, she also claimed that Sean’s friend - whose apartment they were in - raped her as well.
The second complaint filed the same day, alleged that after going on a date with Sean in 1991, he “intentionally drugged” and sexually assaulted her. Sean is also accused of filming this alleged assault and showing it to other people.
Once again, he denied the allegations, claimed they were “fabricated”.
A month later, another woman came forward, alleging that she was gang raped in 2003 by Sean and two other men in his recording studio, when she was 17 years old.
She also claims she was drugged and trafficked across state lines from Detroit to New York City on a private yet, before the rape took place.
The latest filing came in yesterday and this time it’s by a male music producer who worked with Sean on his latest album.
The producer says he lived and travelled with Sean from September 2022 to November 2023 and has recordings of Sean, his staff and others “engaging in serious illegal activity”.
Hi allegations against Sean include “Constant unsolicited and unauthorised groping and touching of his anus”. Forcing him to work in the bathroom while he showered naked. Drugging both him and underage girls and forcing him to solicit sex workers and perform sex acts with them.
Once again, Sean denies the allegations.
All of these claims - which go back over 20 years - have come out within the last 4 months and I imagine there are plenty more to come.
Sean’s “power” and influence is mentioned several times in all these suits and with his many connections in Hollywood, it will be interesting to see who stands by him. Especially seeing as there have been rumours about his behaviour for years.
Let’s be honest, if I’ve heard them all the way down in Croydon, it’s a little hard to feign ignorance if you live in Beverly Hills and have every A lister saved in your contacts list.
Some have spoken out though. Comedian Katt Williams has been vocal to the point where I seriously hope he’s being questioned by police and 50 Cent is also producing a documentary about Sean and his sexual assault allegations.
I highly doubt that’s the only documentary we’re going to be watching about this…
Absolutely horrendous! However, I'm not shocked by this in the same way I wasn't about Russell Brand.
